BREAKING: Edo Election: Protesters invade INEC’s collation centre

Aggrieved voters from Esan West and Esan East Local Government Areas of Edo State are currently protesting at the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Benin, the state capital.

The electoral umpire’s office in Benin is the venue for the general collation of yesterday’s governorship election that held in the state.

The voters are asking INEC not to announce the results that might have been submitted to it.

They are contending that the conduct of the poll in the areas breached extant laws .

This is happening at a time the electoral umpire is announcing results collated from the various local government areas in the state .
