The Presidency, last night, debunked the rumours that President Muhammadu Buhari is dead.
Buhari was said to have given up the ghost in Germany following an undisclosed terrible health condition which took him to the United Kingdom.
He left Nigeria on Thursday, January 19 for United Kingdom on a 10-day vacation.
However, the Presidency in a statement said he would attend to his health by going for medical check-ups during the vacation.
But less than two days after he left for united Kingdom, rumour spread like bush fire in the harmatan that Buhari was dead.
The speculation was however refuted vide a social media post by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu on Saturday.
According to him, ‘he (President Buhari) is alive and well! President Buhari is not magical. He cannot be holidaying in the UK & be in Germany, dead or alive at the same time.
“He is unlike a past President who was at Ota, w/ Chief Obj and attending the Trump inauguration in D.C, being in two places at the same time!,” Mr Shehu tweeted mocking former President Goodluck Jonathan”
Recall that President Buhari departed the country two days ago on a 10-day holiday for his routine medical check up.
