Unknown gunmen have reportedly abducted a one-time Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga.
Tsiga was at the helms of affairs at the NYSC between January 2009 to September 2011
He was abducted alongside others during an attack by gunmen on Tsiga community in the Bakori local government area of Katsina State.
According to Leadership newspaper report, the attack occurred around 12:30 am. on Wednesday, February 5, sparking fear and confusion among locals.
Authorities have been alerted, and efforts were reportedly underway by security agencies to rescue the kidnapped individuals and bring the perpetrators to justice.
