The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has reviewed the fees for all categories of lawyers participating in the forthcoming 2024 Annual General Conference.
The details of the fees expected to be paid by lawyers for the conference are contained in a document which has now been seen by BAR & BENCH WATCH.
In the document, participating lawyers are categorized into eight groups including lawyers who have been in practice between one and nine years; 10 and 19 years; 20 years and above; SANs, A-Gs and Benchers with Magistrates.
Other categories include judges and khadis; non-lawyers; and international delegates.
The least fee expected to be paid by lawyers who have practiced for a minimum of one year and a maximum of nine years is N50,000 while the highest fee expected to be paid by senior lawyers who are Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN), Benchers and Attorneys-General is N750,000.
