President Bola Tinubu on Monday signed the minimum wage bill into law.
Tinubu signed the bill days after the National Assembly had passed the N70,000 per month minimum wage bill.
The event which held at the State House ended months of deliberations among government authorities, labour unions, and the private sector.
A National Assembly delegation, led by the President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio and some members of the House of Representatives, was around to witness the epochal event
The signing of the bill was done less than 72 hours to the commencement of scheduled protest against President Tinubu’s policies which had occasioned monumental hardship on Nigerians and corporate persons
