The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) on Sunday said only three of the bodies onboard the helicopter that crashed in Port Harcourt have been found.
The affected chopper, on a mission for the national oil company, crashed on Thursday into the Atlantic Ocean.
The crash occurred in the Bonny-Finima area of Rivers State.
Giving updates on the crash on Sunday, NNPCL said only three bodies from the crash have been found.
It said no other bodies have been recovered from the ill-fated helicopter operated by East Winds Aviation.
In a statement by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, the national oil firm said: “The Company further notes that intensified search and rescue operations for the remaining bodies along with relevant authorities is still ongoing.
“Once again, our hearts and prayers are with family members of this unfortunate incident.”
